Analog Devices announced that its Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Vincent Roche, has become a member of theAlliance of CEO Climate Leaders of the World Economic Forum. Analog Devices is the first semiconductor company to join the Alliance, a global community of more than 120 CEOs and Senior Executives from large multinational organizations committed to accelerating the pace of action taken against climate change in their value chains.

"Analog Devices' main goal is to partner with our customers to create technological innovation that enriches and improves lives and the world around us," said Roche. "From electrification to energy management to industrial efficiency, a focus on addressing climate change is intrinsic to all of our businesses and operations. Joining the Alliance is a logical consequence of our commitment and actions to promote sustainable solutions globally to enable and accelerate the transition to zero emissions. We look forward to working side by side with Alliance members within the sectors in which we operate."

Founded in 2014 as an initiative of the World Economic Forum, the Alliance and its members are committed to engaging policymakers in the shared goal of reducing emissions by more than 1 gigaton per year by 2030 and achieving Net Zero by 2050. The Alliance publishes reports and white papers to guide leaders toward eliminating carbon emissions, as well as facilitating cross-sector collaboration and knowledge sharing.

"We are delighted that Vince is joining us as a member of the Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders," said Pim Valdre, Climate Ambition Initiative manager at the World Economic Forum. "Analog Devices' commitment to achieving zero emissions by 2050, or even earlier, is just one example of its excellence in ESG (Environmental Social and Governance), which, in the semiconductor industry, can inspire other companies to follow suit. We look forward to leveraging the experience and vision of Vince and the Analog Devices team."
