ISELED Alliance announced that. Analog Devices, Renesas Electronics e Simoldes have joined the alliance, which thus has 46 companies. Founded in 2016, ISELED Alliance aims to build a comprehensive ecosystem based on the eponymous automotive lighting technology. Members include leading Tier 1 "lighting," LED and semiconductor manufacturers, specialized lighting designers, and many others.

"The ISELED Alliance is pleased to welcome Analog Devices, Renesas and Simoldes as new members," said Robert Kraus, Ceo of Inova Semiconductors and chairman of the ISELED Alliance. "The tremendous success and global acceptance of ISELED is largely due to the work of the Alliance members and the four conferences we have organized from 2018 to the present." In addition to the successful APIX (Automotive Pixel Link) products, already available in the third generation, Inova introduced ISELED in 2016 and IlaS, the "ISELED Light and Sensor Network," in 2020, which is expected to enter mass production in vehicles starting in 2025.

The new members of the alliance

For Analog Devices , Vlad Bulavsky, General Manager of Automotive Connectivity, speaks, " Analog Devices is proud to join the ISELED Alliance as we bring together 10BASE-T1S E²B and ILaS/ISELED technologies to help realize innovative new lighting systems."

Instead, Renesas will contribute its system expertise to the alliance effort and develop solutions based on its microcontroller portfolio. "ISELED Light and Sensor network is an innovative concept to simplify the integration of lights, sensors and actuators," said Satoshi Yoshida, Senior Director, Automotive Digital Products Marketing Division at Renesas. "I am confident that the combination of easy-to-integrate LED lighting solutions and Renesas' robust automotive product portfolio will enable us to provide optimized automotive lighting solutions for our customers."

Simoldes, on the other hand, is a company of more than 6,000 people that produces quality tools for injection molding of thermoplastic materials. Simoldes began supplying plastic parts in 1981 and is now a major player supplying all major OEMs. With 19 plants, three engineering centers and five ACS (Advanced Customer Services), the Simoldes Group is present in twelve countries, providing innovative solutions for a sustainable future in the automotive and non-automotive sectors.
