Power supply: Scandinova acquires Scanditronix

Scanditronix products will be included as subcomponents in the ScandiNova system.

ScandiNova Systems, a provider of next-generation high-voltage pulse power systems, announced the acquisition of. Scanditronix Magnet, a manufacturer of magnets and coils for medical, industrial and research applications with 30 employees and headquarters near the city of Växjö.

Scanditronix products will be included as subcomponents in the ScandiNova system. In addition to additional products, the Scanditronix acquisition will add expertise in areas such as design and development and expand the company's production capacity, which will also expand its workforce.

ScandiNova develops and manufactures pulsed power systems with high power levels for use in MedTech, industrial and scientific applications. The company's product range includes pulse modulators, generators, turnkey radio frequency (RF) systems, E-gun modulators, and pulsed electric field modulators, all featuring solid-state technology. More than 95 percent of production is exported to customers in more than 45 countries, mainly in Europe, Asia and North America. ScandiNova Systems AB was founded in 2001 by people with long business and technical experience in pulsed power applications.
