Riello UPS, a brand of Riello Elettronica Group, a global player in the production of uninterruptible power supplies, photovoltaic inverters, announces the opening of Riello UPS Ireland, a new subsidiary company in the Republic of Ireland.

"The Irish subsidiary marks an important step forward in our business expansion and is key to further and better serving the growing demand of the data center industry and the critical energy segment more generally ," said Fabio Passuello and Roberto Facci, CEO and Sales Director, respectively, of RPS, a Riello Elettronica Group Company.

The Verona-based company's 17th global subsidiary, Riello UPS Ireland Ltd is the result of a strategy to increase the brand's presence in Ireland's burgeoning data center market, which sees a strong presence from global technology giants, chief among them Amazon. The new subsidiary will be led by Leo Craig, who will combine the role with his current position as managing director of Riello UPS Ltd in the UK. A member of the Institute of Engineering Technology (MIET) and a Fellow of the Institute of Sales Management (FISM), Craig is also a Certified Data Center Design Professional (CDCDP) and a Certified Data Center Energy Professional (DCDEP) with more than 30 years of experience in critical power protection.

Riello UPS Ireland Ltd is expected to be fully operational by the new year, with a dedicated team and a new office in Dublin's IT district. Already at the DataCentres Ireland conference, held Nov. 16-17 at the RDS Arena in Dublin, Riello UPS had the opportunity to present its range of dedicated data center solutions, including the new modular Multi Power, and the monolithic NextEnergy and Sentryum, all of which feature the highest levels of efficiency offered on the market today.

"The Irish market offers tremendous growth potential for our company. The Riello UPS brand is already well established in Ireland and we have strong ties through several dealers and distributors. Having our own office and field team will allow us to act more effectively in the market to increase our presence in the months and years to come," said Leo Craig.
