Würth Italy: Impulse Innovation Contest returns, this time for partners

After the success of the first edition dedicated to the company's employees, the Würth Impulse Innovation Contest is back, with an edition dedicated to partners

The second edition of theImpulse Innovation Contest, the initiative launched by Würth Italy with the aim of promoting collaboration in the development of new innovative products and solutions. For the second edition of the project, the company wanted to involve its partners, listening to their proposals to encourage the co-creation of ever-new products and services.

The contest was attended by 159 suppliers who had the opportunity to present their innovative ideas through one-on-one appointments with Würth contact persons. The themes of the projects touch on all areas of Würth's business, with a special focus on digitization and sustainability in services and business processes. The ideas judged to be winners will be supported by the innovation department and the various departments involved by their respective themes to continue with project development.

"Impulso Innovation Contest was created with the aim of giving voice to the most creative and original ideas, in line with Würth's culture of innovation and spirit of entrepreneurship," says Roberto Dalsasso, Director of Internal Processes at Würth Italia."It has always been fundamental for Würth Italia to dialogue with all stakeholders in a true spirit of collaboration and co-creation that aims to maximize potential and resources."

Impulse is a project created with the ambition of improving the efficiency and quality of Würth's processes. The first edition of the Impulso Innovation contest was dedicated to the company's employees, in which 125 participants, divided into 97 groups, presented more than 160 projects. The 15 finalists presented their ideas to the management of Würth Italia on June 24 at NOI Techpark, the innovation district in Bolzano, which Würth is part of with its Innovation Hub.

The Würth Group is a global reference in the distribution of fastening and assembly products and has a worldwide presence in 80 countries with more than 400 companies and more than 83,000 employees, including 33,000 sales technicians.
