Omron Corporation was included for the fifth consecutive year in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI World), a globally recognised SRI (Socially Responsible Investment) stock index used to assess the sustainability of the world's leading companies from an economic, environmental and social perspective.

This time, Omron was judged to be very high-performing in the areas of environment, economy and society. On the environment, OMRON is strengthening its efforts to analyse the risks and opportunities that climate change may have on its business and disclose relevant information in accordance with the guidelines of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosure (TCFD), which it has been supporting since February 2019. At the same time, it has several environmental datasets secured from independent third parties. In the economic and social sector, the company is also moving forward in disclosing its initiatives to further improve its transparency. Established in 1933, Omron employs around 30,000 people worldwide and offers products and services in around 120 countries and regions.
