Also this year Phoenix Contact confirms its tradition of celebrating Christmas by offering playful entertainment for solidarity purposes. In fact, for the seventeenth consecutive year, the company is supporting the association Amref and from this year the Erripo - Protect Girls project.

Erripo - Protect Girls was born as a result of the Nice Place project, a collaboration between Amref Health Africa and Nice Place Foundation which, thanks to the support and generosity of many and virtuous companies, is enabling the completion of the women's shelter in Kajiado South, Kenya, where the first well for drinking water was inaugurated last year.

The Erripo - Protect Girls project is an integrated programme that combats genital mutilation (FGM) and promotes women's emancipation through basic and urgent socio-cultural interventions aimed at young women who are guests of the centre.

So this year Phoenix Contact is once again inviting people to take part in the "Tappy Santa" video game , online until 6 January, and available via a dedicated webpage, accessible via the company's social pages. For every interaction, like, comment and share, Phoenix Contact will donate 1 euro to Amref.

Phoenix Contact is headquartered in Blomberg, Germany, and employs 17,100 people worldwide, with a turnover of EUR 2.4 billion in 2020. The Group is present globally with 15 production centres and more than 55 commercial branches. In Italy, the company has been present since 1997 with the headquarters in Cusano Milanino (MI) and the Logistics Centre in Cesano Maderno. More than 120 people work in the Italian subsidiary.
