Harwin presents 5 Star Award winners for 2021

Harwin's award again this year recognises the incredible efforts made by professionals in the company's global distribution network

In recognition of its enormous contribution to the continued success of Harwinthe company has announced the winners of this year's 5 Star Awards. These coveted awards are presented annually to the most successful employees within Harwin's sales channel to recognise exemplary work over the past year.

As Andrew McQuilken, Harwin's Chief Revenue Officer, comments: "These awards provide a great way to show our appreciation to our channel partners. In what has been a difficult time for global supply chains, the responsiveness of the distribution network and proximity to customers is more important than ever. Thanks to the hard work of the individuals and organisations in which they operate, we have achieved a significant commercial boost for our innovative interconnect technology, with many exciting opportunities in new applications and geographic regions."

The awardees are:

  • Jose Ramon Blazquez, of Avnet Abacus, who has played a key role in securing new projects for Harwin in a variety of markets, including the increasingly dynamic electric vehicle sector.
  • Dieter Kuhn, of Avnet Abacus, for his involvement in a number of high-profile customer projects and for the technical support he provided.
  • Jeri Hull, of Mouser Electronics, who has done an outstanding job in launching Harwin's latest products.
  • John Islam, of TTI EMEA - for his proactive support to business development, as well as his vast experience in the field.
  • Debbie Johnson, of TTI USA, responsible for managing emerging customers, where she has been instrumental in meeting customers' cable assembly needs.
  • Jijo John, of iConnexion, for gaining new customers for Harwin's strategic embedded industrial connector division in a number of large customer projects across Asia.

In addition to these winners, John Sandy of TTI USA will receive a special commendation. Having already been mentioned in two previous 5 Star Awards, he will now receive exceptional recognition for his achievements. This unique award recognises his extraordinary efforts to increase Harwin's market share in the North American region.
