North American semiconductor equipment manufacturers reported August 2021 sales of $3.65 billion. These are the figures published by SEEDS, which show turnover was 5.4% lower than in July 2021 and 37.6% higher than turnover in August 2020.
"After eight outstanding months of record results, North American-based semiconductor equipment manufacturers' billings are expected to have declined in August compared to July," said Ajit Manocha, president and CEO of SEMI. "However, billings continue to reflect strong demand for semiconductor equipment and solid year-on-year growth."
