Eaton confirms its commitment to training and, as a provider of Continuing Professional Training recognised by the National Council of Industrial Technicians and Graduate Industrial Technicians, offers a new free course on theevolution of emergency lighting systems. Available in virtual mode and on-demand on a dedicated platform, the course gives the right to obtain recognised and certified training credits.

The initiative is part of a project toexpand the certified online training offer, which will cover a variety of topics including differential protection and AFDDs, analysis of all potential applications of photovoltaic energy storage systems and the evolution of human-machine interfaces in industrial automation.

"Eaton aims to contribute to the professional growth of its customers and provides free training courses that are up-to-date with market trends. In a critical moment like the present one, we offer the possibility to appraisers to increase their knowledge and skills through technology and digital channels, bringing the courses directly to their homes", said Marco Battisti, Commercial & industrial segment marketing manager at Eaton.

Eaton's Continuing Professional Education project provides training credits for registered experts through participation in training and updating activities: for every hour of course organised by the company, the National Council of Industrial Technicians and Graduate Industrial Technicians awards 1 training credit, plus another 3 if the final test is passed. The courses are delivered through an innovative online and on-demand platform, which offers the user maximum flexibility: it is possible to divide the duration of the course into 30-minute modules and access them at any time and from any device. Credits will be obtained by submitting a self-certification document to the local College, attaching the certificate of attendance issued by Eaton at the end of each course.
