After the success of the first edition, held in December 2018, Cesenalab launches IDEA BATTLE II, a national award for startups. The ideas competition, organised with the contribution of Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Cesena and Crédit Agricole Italia, aims to support innovative businesses in our country.
The competition is open to all individuals or teams with an innovative project, start-ups not yet established as a company, and start-ups established no more than 12 months after the date of publication of the call for proposals.
A panel of industry experts will evaluate the projects by scoring the following criteria: project innovation, team, market opportunity, project progress, project scalability, patents and clarity of the materials presented.
The first prize winner will receive € 6,000.00, the second prize winner € 3,000.00 and the third prize winner € 1,000.00. The winners will be announced at a ceremony.
The call is open until 21:00 on 6 September. In the "calls" section of the Cesenalab website you can read the call and fill in the application form.
Born out of the need to provide young entrepreneurs, companies, students or simple citizens with a useful tool for the development of highly innovative business projects, Cesenalab declares as its main objective to give anyone with an innovative idea the necessary tools to turn it into a real company.
