Digi-Key Electronics announced that it has provided its customers with an updated online portal for returns and order issues. The portal is more intuitive and allows international customers to fully manage returns themselves, including printing shipping labels, making corrections, filing complaints for incomplete orders and resolving order issues.
Digi-Key customers, whether guests or registered users, can access the return portal by providing the email address, invoice number and postcode associated with their order. Users will be able to describe the reason for the return or the problem with the component and will have the option to provide photos and print a return shipping label.
"The user experience enhancements are intended to make it as easy as possible for us to handle returns and resolve order issues," said Marie Sander, Digi-Key's customer service manager. "The ability for customers to make returns in fewer clicks helps streamline the customer service experience, without losing the personalized touch that Digi-Key offers. It's one of the many ways we continue to improve the customer service experience.
