Rohm has formulated its medium-term management plan entitled 'Moving Forward to 2025', with the aim of achieving a sustainable company through significant revenue growth. Today the company is a $3.295 billion global company with 22,370 employees.

Based on the company's mission and management vision, Rohm's product development, production and sales divisions will work together to further develop harmonised power and analogue technologies.

The medium-term management plan aims to achieve strong growth in automotive segments and markets worldwide over the next ten years. The net sales target is EUR 3.5 billion by March 2026.

Over the course of five years, a gradual decrease in cash flow will also be aimed at reaching around 50% of annual turnover in the fiscal year 2025. At the same time, investments for growth will be worth EUR 3 billion.

The company also intends to enhance the value of its products and transform its business to strengthen the profitability of general-purpose devices and integrated circuits for consumer devices.

In particular, the plan includes precise targets for integrated circuits (strengthening products for electric vehicles and maintaining consumer sales with downsized/high-efficiency products); discrete semiconductor devices (achieving a 30% market share); modules (focus on safety sensors and modules to support autonomous driving).

New structures to support growth

A world-class product development structure will be established with the support of product marketing engineers, and collaboration between the sales division and organisations specialising in proposing solutions and providing technical support will be consolidated. Product marketing engineers will be in charge of developing new products. Among the actions to be implemented is the reform of production processes, which will be oriented towards total automation.

Esg (Environment, Social, Governance) initiatives

Rohm aims to achieve zero greenhouse gases and zero emissions based on three principles: "climate change", "resource recycling" and "coexistence with Nature". An organisational structure will also be created to enable human resources with diverse experience to create innovation.
