Power management in the second instalment of EIT from Mouser Electronics

Mouser Electronics has released the second episode of the 2021 edition of its Empowering Innovation Together programme and podcast. The Tech Between Us. In this episode, available on Mouser's website, Alexa, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, iHeartRadio, Pandora and Spotify, power management issues and the potential of wide band-gap semiconductors are explored.

Launched in 2015, Mouser's 'Empowering Innovation Together' programme is one of the most popular and followed initiatives involving electronic components.

Raymond Yin, director of engineering content at Mouser, will host Steven Shackell, product line manager for SiC and GaN products, to discuss today's wide band-gap devices. ON Semiconductor for SiC and GaN products, to discuss today's wide band-gap devices.

Following on from power management, subsequent instalments of the 2021 EIT will focus on current topics including artificial intelligence and automation, as well as new technologies used in products such as sensors, RF and wireless devices. The programme will highlight several new product developments and illustrate the technical advances needed to keep pace with market developments.
