Erni has developed a new online platform that gives customers convenient access to the right product selection for every application. Available in German, English and Chinese, Erni's digital world enables interested parties from all over the world to find out the right product for them as quickly and easily as possible. Like in a virtual exhibition, customers can navigate to the relevant topic area and, in addition to suggested solutions for the application, also find detailed product information and further links.

Erni is a manufacturer and supplier of electronic connectivity solutions with over 70 years of history. The emphasis is on connectors for the automotive and industrial automation sectors. Today Erni, headquartered in Switzerland, employs more than 1,300 people worldwide, and each year its sales are worth around 200 million euros.

Much more than a virtual square

The individual subject areas of the platform include automation, automotive, transport, measurement and testing technology ('instrumentation'), medical and energy technology, telecommunications and aerospace-military, not forgetting aspects of IoT. In some areas, hotspots have been set up to guide users directly to specific applications in which Erni products are used; in the automotive sector, for example, there are the 'Headlights' and 'Battery Management' hotspots. Areas dedicated to innovations, special events and training complete the scene. The range of services and the level of detail in the digital world will be continuously expanded.
