Arrow Electronics a global technology solutions provider, and Submeran innovator in advanced immersion cooling solutions for data center, cloud and edge computing, have signed an agreement to provide enterprise customers in the Emea region with high efficiency and high density computing solutions. Under this agreement, Arrow will utilize Submer's power and cooling expertise in combination with Submer's purpose-built hardware, support and customized services. Dell Technologies OEM Solutionswith Arrow's custom support and services, to provide turnkey solutions.

By combining Arrow's global supply chain, engineering services and support capabilities with Submer's innovative immersion solution, this collaboration will help facilitate the deployment of environmentally sustainable data centre solutions on a global scale.

Immersion cooling is changing the traditional data centre landscape. The immersion cooling market is being driven by the growth in global IP traffic and the increased use of supercomputers and very large scale data centres around the world. The demand for technologies that improve a company's cost-effectiveness and contribute to its sustainability goals is growing. The pressure on industry to reduce its impact on natural resources and the environment has increased, and one of the best ways for companies to address this problem is to improve their energy consumption metrics. The installation of immersion cooling, a method of submerging computer components (or the entire server) in a thermally conductive liquid (dielectric coolant), but not electrically, is a proven and highly effective step to reduce the environmental impact of a computer.

"Submer is committed to providing the technology to enable optimal machine environments, paving the way for a new generation of immersion-cooled data centres. Arrow and Dell are key players in this journey," said Daniel Pope, CEO and co-founder of Submer. "With our immersion cooling technology, we are able to deliver efficiency, density and peace of mind to those who want to tackle complex, high-density tasks in a sustainable way."

"Arrow Electronics is excited to partner with Submer to provide a dedicated platform for new edge capabilities and to initiate important energy efficiency comparisons for our customers," said James Stannard, vice president of sales Business Global Services Arrow in Emea. "For more than 85 years, we have been a guide for companies on their innovation journey, with a broad offering of global products and services. Our ability to assist companies in their growth and market allows them to focus on accelerating their core businesses."
