Mouser Electronics has entered into a distribution agreement with MultiTechMouser Electronics MultiTech has signed a distribution agreement with Mouser Electronics MultiTech, one of the most important suppliers of devices and services for the IoT (Internet of Things) world, with a range of sensors and solutions for authentication and communications.

Modems, gateways and MultiTech modules available from Mouser

The SocketModem Cell is an off-the-shelf modem available in 4G-LTE, 2G, 3G and GSM models. These communications devices allow designers to add wireless communications capabilities to their products while minimising development time and costs, which benefits time-to-market. SocketModem Cell cellular modems are based on standard open interfaces and use MultiTech's Universal Socket, a flexible communications port that allows designers to use a single system and integrate it with the connectivity module that best suits their needs.

The MultiConnect microcell is a simple and compact communication platform that can be used to equip both fixed and mobile applications such as vending machines, smart parking systems and smart inventory tracking devices with cellular communication capabilities. This self-contained 'USB to mobile' device supports 4G-LTE Cat 4 and Cat 1 standards and is designed to provide basic cellular communication with security features (such as SSL/TLS 1.2 or higher).

Conduit is a programmable, configurable, manageable and scalable gateway for IIoT applications. Capable of supporting Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy and GNSS, Conduit features two accessory card slots that allow users to insert MultiTech mCard™ cards that support the most suitable wired or wireless communication interface, including LoRaWAN, to locally connect a wide range of assets to the gateway.

xDot is a safe, low-power RF module, CE/FCC/RCM/GITEKI certified and programmable using the Arm®Mbed™ compiler that enables long distance, low bit rate M2M data connection with sensors, industrial equipment and remote appliances. Compatible with LoRaWAN®1.0.2, xDot supports bi-directional data communication up to 15 km in mutual visibility and approximately 2 km inside buildings using the sub-GHz bands in North America, Europe, Australia (AU915), Asia Pacific (AS923), India (IN865) and Korea (KR920).
