e-peas is a specialist in innovative power management integrated circuits (PMIC) for energy harvesting. The company is strengthening its commercial presence in France and Italy by entrusting the promotion and marketing of its products to Steliau Technology and, in Italy, to Special-Indthe latter's recent acquisition.

Headquartered in Mont-Saint-Guibert, Belgium, with offices in Switzerland and the United States, e-peas develops and commercializes a semiconductor technology with very low energy consumption that enables manufacturers of industrial and IoT solutions to significantly increase battery life and eliminate replacement without compromising reliability. Based on 15 years of research and patented intellectual property, E-Peas' products then increase the amount of energy harvested and significantly reduce the consumption of all energy-intensive blocks in wireless sensor nodes.

The e-peas series of AEM chips oversees the extraction, storage and delivery of harvested energy. Enabling its collection from photovoltaic, thermal, vibrational or RF systems, these products fit perfectly into the Steliau technology ecosystem. In addition to the wide range of RF modules (WAN, LPWAN and IoT Cellular) that the company already offers, these products make the most of energy harvested from the surrounding environment. "We see great potential in these devices for our customers' applications. The low level at which these products can start operating brings important operational benefits to all systems that require low energy consumption," said Pascal Reynoud, General Manager of Steliau Technology. "In addition to being particularly suitable for all new projects, PMICs can also be integrated into existing solutions."

"Steliau Technology's reputation as a provider of advanced IoT technologies and the application knowledge developed by its teams, combined with our ingenuity in PMIC, ensure that this deployment partnership will be extremely beneficial for both parties," adds Luc Engrand, Sales Director Europe at e-peas. "This will give them even more leeway in the market, being involved in a multitude of new projects where truly efficient energy autonomy is required."
