Nicomatic has appointed David Carman as business manager to lead the worldwide marketing of interconnect products for high reliability applications in the aerospace and defence sectors. These include the new EN4165 compliant Optimus connectors, which will be launched in the coming months.
Carman has more than twenty-four years of experience in the military and aerospace sectors at an international level and prior to joining Nicomatic he worked in the American TE Connectivitywhere he was responsible for sales in the areas of aircraft interiors and in-flight entertainment systems. To take up his new position, Carman returned to the UK after living the last ten years in the US.
"I plan to use my experience to further strengthen Nicomatic's already strong reputation and the success of its aerospace product range," he said. "The launch of the EN4165-compliant Optimus range of connectors in the coming months of 2021 is a very exciting development, which will allow us to expand into new markets and offer customers the advanced levels of service for which Nicomatic is renowned."
