Pickering Electronicsthe reed relay company that pioneered miniaturisation, has completely revamped the datasheets for its entire product range, providing more information in a clearer format, with interactive links to further useful content.

The new information includes additional environmental specifications, mechanical characteristics and relay weights, as well as RF graphics for coaxial relays showing VSWR, isolation and insertion loss. Specifications and details are more clearly laid out, particularly the mechanical drawings.

Keith Moore, CEO of Pickering, says: "It is easy to overlook so-called 'simple' components such as reed relays, so we decided to make all our experience available to designers as easily as possible so that they make the right choice.

The newly designed datasheets include interactive links to relevant technical application information and content, including a summary document entitled '10 key benefits of Pickering reed relays' and a comparison table with similar Pickering products.

Pickering Electronics is part of the Pickering Group, which includes Pickering Interfaces (signal simulation and switching products), and Pickering Connect (cables and connectors).

Pickering's reed relays are primarily intended for use in instrumentation and test equipment.
