TTI announces the appointment of Mike Morton to the position of Chief Executive Officer.

The announcement follows the recent death of TTI founder Paul Andrews, whose leadership enabled the company to become the seventh largest global distributor of electronic components, with a very significant market share in all regions. In 1971, in Fort Worth, Texas, Andrews began building the foundation of the company that he would turn into a billion-dollar global business. Today, TTI has 7,000 employees worldwide and includes Mouser Electronics, Sager Power Systems and TTI Semiconductor Group. Andrews envisioned an organisation with a culture of continuous improvement in business processes; he argued that the company's success lay in "doing what you say you're going to do and providing exceptional service", a simple strategy that continues to fuel TTI's growth in all markets, especially Europe, where the company began operations in 1992.

Morton has served the company for over 40 years in various leadership positions, most recently as Chief Operating Officer. During his years with the company, Morton has played a key role in bringing the company to its current level of success. It is expected that his knowledge of the company and his extensive experience will support him in this new key position.
