Vicor appoints David Krakauer Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Channel Strategy

Vicor Corporation has a new Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Channel Strategy: David Krakauer. His function will be to oversee marketing activities, including corporate branding, promotion and communications, as well as channel marketing and sales growth strategies.

Prior to joining the company, Krakauer was Responsible for Corporate Marketing and Customer Experience at Analog Devices, where he also held other previous roles in product line management. He holds a BSEE and MSEE from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as an MBA from MIT's Sloan School of Management.

"David has extensive experience in driving profitable revenue growth through new strategies and marketing practices. We are pleased to welcome David on board as we continue to build and strengthen our brand in high growth markets, such as high performance power modules," commented Phil Davies, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing at Vicor.

Vicor designs, develops, manufactures and markets modular power components and complete power systems based on a portfolio of patented technologies. Headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts, the company supplies its products to the power systems market, including high-performance and enterprise data processing, industrial equipment and automation, telecommunications and network infrastructure, vehicle and transportation, aerospace and defence.
