Eurotech has joined theNnvidia Partner Network (NPN) as a Preferred Oem Partner. The Friuli-based company, through its HPEC (High Performance Edge Computer) systems and boards that speed up the access, storage and analysis of large amounts of data, enables artificial intelligence (AI), virtualisation and advanced analytics applications in the field.

Concentrating the high computing capacity of the traditional data centre within field systems requires a reduction in the space, weight and power consumption of the devices, which must also ensure reliability and continuity of performance, while maintaining energy efficiency in harsh environmental conditions (dust, limited or no air cooling capacity, extreme temperatures, shock and vibration).

"Eurotech has long been an industry leader in the design and development of HPEC systems," said Alfred Manhart, VP of Channel Business for EMEA at Nvidia. "Joining the NPN gives Eurotech access to a global ecosystem of artificial intelligence technologies and resources that will enhance its ability to meet customers' increasingly demanding edge computing requirements."

The NPN programme will give Eurotech's engineers access to Nvidia's artificial intelligence technologies, supporting Eurotech's misison of bringing unparalleled capabilities into HPEC systems and embedded platforms to enable system integrators and end customers to accelerate time to market.

"It is a great privilege to become an NVIDIA OEM partner," said Giuseppe Surace, CP&MO at Eurotech. "By joining the NPN, we will provide our customers with the best technologies for HPECs and fanless embedded systems, enabling the most advanced artificial intelligence capabilities in the field with a range of products designed to satisfy an increasing number of use cases."
