Accenture e Microsoft have announced a new collaboration with CNH Industrial to help the capital goods company enhance its digital capabilities and develop smarter connectivity products and services. The program is an integral part of CNH Industrial's global digital transformation effort to increase its financial performance, develop a more technologically advanced workforce and become more sustainable.

Microsoft and Accenture have been working closely together for over twenty years to help organisations overcome disruption by driving transformation in their respective industries.

A key element of the five-year collaboration is the creation of a global network of "Digital Hubs" in Brazil, Europe, India and the United States, in which the three companies will work together in an integrated manner to design, launch and manage innovative digital services that will make the products of CNH Industrial brands even more "intelligent", functional, safe and sustainable.

"The creation of Digital Hubs represents a key pillar of the strategy that will lead CNH Industrial to evolve from a producer of physical goods to a provider of new digital and connected products and services," said Andreas Weishaar, Chief Strategy, Talent, ICT and Digital Officer, CNH Industrial. "Over the next five years, we will work with Accenture and Microsoft in an integrated and agile way to build and manage these digital factories, with positive impacts for customers, dealers, communities and the environment. We will simultaneously transform corporate culture and our products, creating enormous value through digitally enabling our people and integrating traditional business models with new digital services, with positive impacts on sustainability globally."

Connected vehicles will provide customers with new value-added services and capabilities in a number of areas, including computerized agriculture, predictive maintenance, enhanced fleet management and green transportation. CNH Industrial also plans to develop a wide range of data-driven digital services to help customers become more sustainable - for example, in agriculture, by improving crop yields, or in the transportation industry, by making vehicles and fleet management more efficient. By complementing its traditional business model based on product sales with new digitally driven services, CNH Industrial aims to achieve significant revenue growth.

"At a time when every industry sector has been deeply affected by the economic crisis caused by the ongoing health emergency, we are particularly proud to announce this partnership that will support CNH Industrial on its innovation journey to achieve its digital transformation," said Teodoro Lio, Automotive & Mobility Lead at Accenture Europe and global client account for CNH Industrial. "This partnership is another example of how we collaborate with our clients to help them address the transformations ahead, bringing our expertise to bear as a lever to embrace change and create new value for all stakeholders."

Marco Giletta, Global Business Director Automotive at Microsoft Italy, added: " The synergistic collaboration between all the players involved will allow CNH Industrial to access the best technological platform together with a range of vertical industry expertise, as well as the ability to implement digital projects, pursuing its own path of digital transformation.
