RS Components Italy has announced the appointment of Agostino Ruggiero as Head of Product Management. In this role, Ruggiero is responsible for leading the product team, with the aim of creating and strengthening relationships with market-leading partners to ensure RS Components Italia customers receive the best product offering in the industrial sector. His main focus will be on promoting Made in Italy.
"This new position at RS Components Italia is a very exciting opportunity for me to put my experience at the service of a world-class multichannel distribution company, with the aim of further strengthening the relationship with leading suppliers and bringing to market the best possible offer, in line with the company's model," said Ruggiero.
The new Head of Product Management at RS Components has significant experience in coordinating teams of buyers and managing purchasing and commercial strategies for various product lines: he has in fact been a Buyer and Category Manager in multinational companies such as Gruppo Carrefour Italia, Fnac Italia and Mediamarket Spa.
Ruggiero has a degree in Business Economics and a Master's degree in Marketing Management from the Bocconi University in Milan.
As he emphasises: "Particular attention will be paid to promoting partnerships with local suppliers, who represent the heart of our Made in Italy and a strategic objective for the Italian branch".
