Michael Boll will be the new Head of Public Policy of Infineon as of next January. Boll is an experienced political consultant, currently director of Eutop International and member of the local leadership team in Berlin. As successor to Alfred Hoffmann, who has held that position since 1999, in his new role he will report to Bernd Hops, Head of Communications and Public Policy, and will have global responsibility for political communications.
"As a long-standing advisor to our company, he has already had the opportunity in the past to highlight Infineon's special prominence in the economy and society. He is already familiar with our political and public environment," said Bernd Hops, Head of Communications and Public Policy at Infineon. ”
Michael Boll studied law in Münster, holds a Master's degree in International and European Business Law from the University of Exeter (UK) and has held various positions at Eutop International and Gauly Advisors since 2005.
Alfred Hoffmann will support his successor until April, when he will reach retirement age after 35 years in the electrical engineering industry. Since 1999, he has helped to strengthen the protection of Infineon's interests in the USA, China and India.
