Renesas Electronics Corporation has appointed Andreas Hammer as Vice President of Sales for the IoT and Infrastructure Business Unit in Europe.

Andreas Hammer has over 20 years of sales experience and is a respected professional in the semiconductor industry. During his career he has managed several international sales organisations, for several prestigious European companies. He also has a strong background in analogue devices, power devices, microcontrollers and microprocessors for various industries, including automotive, industrial, IoT, telecommunications and consumer.
Prior to joining Renesas, Hammet was EMEA Vice President of Sales at Kemet Corporation, where he also served as Managing Director of Kemet Electronics GmbH. Previously, he worked for Fairchild Semiconductor and Texas Instruments. He holds a degree in Economical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Heilbronn, Germany.
