The Government is working on projects to be submitted to the European Community to obtain Recovery Fund resources. Among these will be the Mise plan for Industry 4.0, which should be called Transition X.0, to indicate an evolution of the concept of digital transition in industry. As regards the economic content of the plan, Minister Patuanelli's latest statement speaks of 27 billion over five years. Anie, in the words of its president Giuliano Busetto, said it was in line "with the government's proposals to strengthen the Plan and extend the time horizon of investments".

A Plan to Support Digital and Manufacturing

In particular, Busetto stressed that it will be crucial to focus available resources on projects related to enabling technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, 5G and ultra-wide band: "We believe it is essential to offer entrepreneurs the widest possible strategic perspective, so as to encourage an investment plan also by small and medium-sized enterprises. For this reason, we believe that the Plan should be refinanced for the next five years by raising tax credit rates and supporting projects for the digital and sustainable transformation of businesses. We ask that the government's agenda put support for the manufacturing industry at the top of the agenda".
