Arrow Electronics has announced a pan-European distribution agreement with Centrify IT security specialist, covering its entire portfolio of Privileged Access Management solutions. Centrify's Identity-Centric approach to Pam is based on the Zero Trust principles of 'never trust, always verify, grant the minimum necessary privileges'. These solutions are designed to protect organisations from unauthorised access and data breaches by managing permissions for people and, increasingly, equipment, which are fragmented in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. With Centrify, administration and access are seamlessly managed, security and compliance postures are strengthened and IT devices are defended against malware.

Alexis Brabant, vice president of sales for Arrow Enterprise Computing Solutions at Arrow Emea, said: "Many data breaches are executed by gaining access to critical infrastructure and sensitive data through compromised privileged credentials. Centrify's cybersecurity solutions offer an innovative approach for our resellers to overcome the inherent security challenges that organisations inevitably encounter during digital transformation projects."

Centrify's solutions simplify privilege management by centralising the identity of electrical and human equipment. By implementing the lowest privilege access system, organisations reduce attack surfaces, improve audit and compliance visibility, and reduce risk, complexity and cost for the modern, hybrid enterprise.

Chris Peterson, vice president of Worldwide Channels & Alliances at Centrify, confirms: "The modern enterprise requires an appropriate approach to managing privileged access. A password store is no longer sufficient to protect the new business environment from threats, especially when it comes to cloud, DevOps, container and microservices environments that have significantly increased IT complexity. Centrify's Identity-Centric PAM solutions help any organisation optimise and protect privileged access, whether the requester is an individual or an IT appliance, in cloud or on-premise environments. Partnering with Arrow significantly expands the reach, scale and reach of our channel strategy."
