LED: IseLed standalone driver chip from Inova Semiconductors

Inova Semiconductors makes available the Automotive Electronic Council (AEC) Q100 enabled IseLed standalone LED driver & controller

In addition to the driver/controller matrix, integrated in the smart LED modules IseLed, Inova Semiconductors makes available the driver chip as a standalone solution, certified AEC-Q100. The INLC10AQ (originally introduced as the INLC100Q16) will be used to build custom LED strips, controllable via a bi-directional differential bus, capable of enabling up to 4079 daisy-chained LED driver and controller devices in a single array. Both the integrated modules and the standalone solution enable innovative solutions for room lighting, display backlighting, etc.

IseLed (Intelligent Smart Embedded Led) is an innovative technology based on highly integrated smart modules that support functional and dynamic lighting solutions. Unlike the conventional approach, which uses standard RGB modules, IseLed technology significantly simplifies colour design and connectivity through lower system costs, which in turn are due to fully calibrated LEDs and no need for binning. The IseLed Alliance brings together several leading automotive lighting companies.
