After a preface by the president of Confindustria, Carlo Bonomi, "Italia 2030" includes analyses by the sociologist, political scientist and essayist Ilvo Diamanti, Telecom chairman Salvatore Rossi, former minister Carlo Triglia, Pierpaolo Benigno, Agar Brugiavini, Carlo Carraro, Marcello Clarich, Massimo Egidi, Gabriele Pasqui and Enzo Rullani.

As the book's introduction states: 'The years of recession, aggravated by the consequences that the coronavirus emergency will have on the world economy, have imposed heavy mortgages on Italy's future. The periods of political and institutional uncertainty and social disintegration experienced by the country over the last forty years are also to blame. This book addresses the critical issues to be resolved and proposes solutions and objectives to be pursued to promote a long-term vision and win the challenge of sustainable development".
