The new series of shield clamps SCC from Phoenix Contact is equipped with spring-loaded connection technology with a large mechanical contact surface and a secure locking system for high shielding effectiveness. The contact spring provides long-term stable and reliable contact quality and also compensates for possible conductor failure.
The shielding clamp opens and closes comfortably with the integrated locking lever. The conductors are inserted into the clamp effortlessly and are automatically centred thanks to the special shape of the contact spring. The conductor is easily held by the contact spring by means of the locking lever. Handling is safe and error-proof as the contact spring is not under pre-tension.
These Phoenix Contact solutions can be used in a connection range of 5 mm to 20 mm. Corrosion protection is guaranteed even under critical operating conditions. Three types of mounting are available for time-saving and vibration-proof installation: plug-in on the neutral conductor busbar, direct mounting and rail mounting. Suitable labelling materials are available for unambiguous labelling.
