Keysight Technologies has extended its Innovate Anywhere program through May 31, 2020 to enable IT staff to support the growing community of remote workers by maintaining network availability, enhancing security and ensuring performance.

"With companies around the world relying on more and more employees working remotely, IT teams have stepped up their support to ensure business continuity," said Mark Pierpoint, president of the Network Applications & Security group at Keysight Technologies. "Vpn's are critical areas to maintain security between users working from home and their businesses. Keysight is committed to helping IT groups ensure that Vpn's work properly for all users, without costing more than they need to."

Services offered by Keysight

Many Vpn's use the SSL protocol to provide secure access to a private network from a public network. Keysight's freeSSL VPN Availability Assessment is a self-service web portal that allows IT teams to check the availability of Cisco gateways on their corporate networks to accept new incoming connections. This low-impact assessment includes daily email reports and proactive alerts on the availability of potential Vpn gateways.

Companies often size their networks based on the status quo, not on what can be called the 'new normal'. IT must therefore also ensure that the network can withstand critical applications during traffic peaks. Keysight experts use ascalable cloud infrastructure to simulate thousands of VPN clients connected to gateways and derive detailed metrics and reports to help identify performance issues and policies to optimise network utilisation.

Keysight also offers Hawkeye Network Performance Monitoring as a free 30-day trial to help minimise disruption and ensure a user experience with active network monitoring.

Finally, with regard to Vpn security, Keysight provides the Threat Simulator simulation platform.
