A&T - Automation & TestingA&T - Automation & Testing, the trade fair dedicated to innovation, skills and 4.0 technologies for SMEs, which will be back next year from 10 to 12 February at the Oval Lingotto in Turin, has decided to contribute to the recovery of the Country System after the lockdown by launching the Manifesto of the four I's: Enterprise, Innovation, Information and Meeting, which has been endorsed by important players from the world of Enterprise, University and Research.

Italian industry, especially small and medium-sized ones, needs to understand the evolution of its market segments, to rebuild its supply chain, to have indicators on development and support on economic stability, in order to be able to return to compete in a sustainable way. Technologies will give a big hand, but they are not enough on their own: we need guidelines and a continuous and updated process of clear communications, both for the reorganisation of production and to ensure the safety of workers. For this reason, it will be essential to aim for an inclusive industrial policy in which the most important players in the world of business, research and universities work as a team.

The A&T365 project

A&T also intends to support those who do business by promoting A&T365, a concrete communication project, through the organisation of round tables and specialist webinars and the delivery of content designed to help companies avoid making mistakes that could be fatal. "The health emergency has brought the entire global economic and industrial system to a standstill," said Luciano Malgaroli, CEO of A&T ."It is clear that we are facing a complicated period, Italy is a fundamental trade partner not only for Europe, but also for America and South East Asia. This does not detract from the fact that recovery will be slow in our country too, companies, especially SMEs, will be in difficulty on many fronts, not least of which is a possible process of production reconversion. For this reason, as the reference trade fair for 4.0 technologies and skills, we have decided to make our know-how available to help the recovery through an inclusive communication project. We want to provide concrete help for Italian manufacturing to recover, which is why we need clear indications, told by experts and accessible to all. Through this project, which we have called A&T365, we want to be at the side of SMEs and support them from today until our next event in February 2021. We will overcome this period and be more competitive than ever.
