RS Components has announced the availability of a wide selection of products from Keysight Technologies, a global provider of Test & Measurement equipment. These include oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, signal generators and multimeters.
Oscilloscopes
The InfiniiVision 4000X and 6000X oscilloscopes (pictured) feature large touchscreen displays with a unique 'trigger zone' function that helps designers, scientists and engineers isolate signals that are normally difficult to capture. The multifunction oscilloscopes also feature the highest waveform update rate available on the market at one million per second. Both families are expected to find use in a range of applications, such as embedded system design and debugging, power design and analysis, automotive and many other systems requiring analysis of analogue, digital, serial and RF signals. The high-end 6000X series also offers performance up to 6 GHz and samples 20 Gs/s and combines digital channels, serial protocol analysis, built-in dual-channel waveform generator, frequency response analysis, built-in digital multimeter and 10-digit counter with totalizer. In addition, the 6000X weighs 6.8 kg, is 15.4 cm deep and consumes only 200 W, making it the world's most environmentally friendly portable multi-GHz oscilloscope.
Spectrum analysers and signal generators
Designed for RF system design and EMC compliance test applications, the next family is the N9300 series, which includes the N9320B and N9322C RF spectrum analysers, and the N9310A RF signal generator. Offering high bandwidth capability up to 7 GHz to meet the requirements of all the latest communication standards, the family also features easy-to-use 'single button' testing, making them ideal for production applications, along with remote control capabilities that allow them to be used in extreme weather environments. The N6705C dc power analyser mainframe unit, in combination with the N678x series of source/measurement units (SMUs), provides battery consumption analysis and functional testing, and provides a quick visualisation of current consumption from amps down to nanoamperes in a single step to help characterise energy use, including ensuring longer battery life. Accurately emulating a battery and providing a compact and highly versatile platform for ATE testing or portable devices, the mainframe unit and SMUs offer stable, glitch-free power and sinking.
Digital multimeter
Ideal for the calibration laboratory and test engineers, the 3458A digital multimeter offers 8½-digit accuracy with state-of-the-art direct voltage (Vdc) accuracy of up to 8 ppm over one year; measurement speeds of up to 100,000 readings per second; and self-adjustment and self-testing capabilities.
