The AutoFair 2020 will take place from 8 to 11 December 2020 at the Munich Exhibition Centre.
As a result of the spread of the Coronavirus in Europe and in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Health of the German Government and Bavaria, Messe München, the organiser of the event, has decided to postpone Automatic 2020, initially scheduled for mid-June. The decision was taken after consultation with the industry association VDMA Robotik + Automation, which sponsors the event, and to protect the health of exhibitors and visitors.
"Under the circumstances, holding automatica in mid-June would be unjustifiable to our customers, especially from a health and economic perspective," said Falk Senger, managing director of Messe München and director of the automatica show. "At this point we are aiming for a very successful edition of automatica 2020 in December together with the entire industry."
The decision to postpone the event was taken by Messe München in close coordination with sponsor VDMA Robotica+Automazione and on the basis of the feedback received from exhibitors.
