Due to developments linked to the spread of Covid-19, out of respect and a sense of responsibility towards the country, visitors, exhibitors and staff at the fair, Messe Frankfurt Italia has decided to postpone the event. SPS Italywhich will take place in Parma from 28 to 30 September 2020.
Italy's leading trade fair for automation and digital technology for industry will be meeting the entire manufacturing world in September, serving the restart of production, commercial and social activities with the utmost commitment and support of all its partners.
At this particular time, the link and collaboration with SPS Nuremberg is even stronger. The synergy between the two platforms, in the two main European automation markets, can be an important boost for the entire supply chain.
The numbers of SPS Italy in 2019
The last edition of SPS Italia, held from 28 to 30 May in Parma, had recorded 41,528 visitors. The exhibitors were 854. Both figures were up on the previous year: +18% in attendance and +6% in exhibiting companies.
Automation, digital, robotics, mechatronics and training were the main themes of the event organised by Messe Frankfurt Italia. "We are enthusiastic about the excellent results obtained thanks to the visitors who crowded the stands from the very first day of the fair in a context aimed at the future and innovation. A turnout that rewards our exhibitors who, with world previews, new solutions and interactive demos, have contributed to an engaging and 'growing' ninth edition", commented Donald Wich, CEO of Messe Frankfurt Italia.
