Minister Stefano Patuanelli presided over the Ministry for Economic Development the second working group dedicated to the development of infrastructure networks. The group was created within the framework of the automotive table, with the aim of supporting the sector's transition towards sustainable mobility.
The meeting was an opportunity to present the state of the refuelling and recharging infrastructures, both at national and European level, and the requirements needed to reach the sustainability targets for transport by 2030, as set by our country.
Measures to achieve sustainable mobility
Patuanelli stressed: "The discussion we are conducting at Mise will make it possible to identify the measures and resources to be allocated to planning the country's infrastructure network, in order to support the spread of new sustainable mobility services. The objective is to create an infrastructure development model capable of creating synergies between the public and private sectors. This is why we are committed to influencing the transition underway in a strategic sector such as the automotive industry".
To support research and the implementation of networks, there will be incentives, measures to simplify and standardise authorisation procedures, and theobligation to install refuelling and charging systems in buildings.
